Create Magnetic Social Media Marketing in 4 Steps

One of the many wonderful aspects of investing in our local Chamber of Commerce is the platforms they have available for us to share our insights with the community.

We provided a webinar for over 200 investors to teach them how to hit their social media goals, build a magnetic brand, and free up their process to get fast results.

Let’s begin this process by establishing context. The average person is said to process 10 thousand images a day. Digital interaction is a primary source of information.  From our morning alarm clock to our nightly news alerts, digital media consumes a large portion of our day.

Consumers take in so much digital information, so how do you make your company stand out from the rest?

This question is a powerful entry point to increasing your company’s social media relationship. It is also an invitation for you to formulate your own answers. Grab a notebook and find a creative space; it’s time for inspiration and curiosity!

Begin by mindfully exploring the spirit of your company. What does your company do that makes someone’s day, makes a difference and fulfills the mission beautifully?

Jot down 3 Ways Your Company Shows Up at Its Best. For STOKES|HERZOG it’s when we help our clients win! An example is when we make an HR Recruitment video that speaks to exactly what job seekers needed to know and provides our client with a fresh group of motivated candidates.

Next, consider who your company most wants to work with. This is a different perspective than asking “who wants to work with us?” Make this important pivot to discover your ideal client, customer, investor. Write down Your Ideal Clients’ Top 3 Traits. What are their values, what will they do with what you offer, how do they relate to others? Answer this to answer who will be your superstar client! If you’re not aiming here, your work together will not be magnetic, and your brand cannot be magnetic either.

When you have your three ideals, see how you might place that into a statement. When Sarah Stokes founded the Juicy Good Life, she knew who she would partner with to make a win for her clients. She described her ideal client as, “Women who want to scale their business with sanity.” There is a lot packed into that statement when you break it down!

Now that you’re in the flow, explore the facts about why your company is the best over the rest. There are several marketing tactics out there that take this decision out of your hands and promise you big success. However, if you stay with the process and allow yourself to be the expert with the answers, you will create a magnetic brand.

Refresh yourself with a deep breath, sip on your water, and breathe again. Know that you have the answers when you consider: What problem are you solving for your ideal client? What is their pain point that you can alleviate?

Consider what your company does to relieve a problem your clients have. Do you create comfort, help them with production speed, offer coaching, ensure accuracy? From there, Write Down How Your Company Solves This For/With Them.

You now have three solid ways to establish the foundation of magnetic marketing. Are you ready to produce content?

Do you ever find yourself in a daze over what you should post on your social media page? Not anymore! These tips will lead you to many, noteworthy ideas to keep your feed fresh and active. The fourth piece is to Brainstorm Content That Entertains, Engages, and Educates.

Remember your prime audience and what you solve for them. Jot down ideas about what grabs their attention. Remember how many images we process every day? Entertainment often stands out from the crowd.  When content gives them what they want, they’re more likely to engage with it. Next, how can you educate your audience about why you’re the best choice? Use the insights you garnered from describing how your company solves its problem.

With the right recipe and your strategic answers, your company will create magnetic social marketing in no time.
